Traditionally, casting is the standard way to see the VR view on a browser for other stakeholders in the meeting room without a headset. However, it requires a Meta account and WiFi configurations to work and significantly reduces the quality of the experience. With this new update, Sentio VR aims to simplify this need by enabling a cloud-based casting that just works and does not require any Meta accounts or WiFi configurations. Here’s how it works:
Open a 360 tour in SENTIO VR Meta Quest App
Click on Broadcast tour and note PIN code
Enter code in cast.sentiovr.com
We’re set! The VR view is now automatically streamed to the web link in real-time
This takes less than a minute, shows the experience in high quality and does not get interrupted even after inactivity on the headset making it a reliable and simple choice for client meetings.
Offline Project Downloads: Present Anywhere, Anytime
Internet connectivity can be unreliable, especially in remote locations or during site visits. Our offline project download feature allows you to download 360 tours and 3D walkthroughs directly to your VR headset. This means you can present your projects anywhere, anytime, without relying on Wi-Fi.
Previously, the offline feature did not support project-based downloads and only allowed downloading presentations for 360 tours.
With this update, users can now download specific projects for both 3D walkthroughs and 360 tours. Once downloaded, these projects can be accessed as a new screen within the SENTIO VR app.
VR Meetings: Streamlined workflow directly from the headset
With our new feature, joining collaborative VR sessions with multiple stakeholders is now simpler and more efficient. You can start meetings directly from the headset, making it easier to guide clients through your designs in either free or guided mode.
The new update eliminates the need to access the dashboard at app.sentiovr.com and manually share access codes and passwords for both 360 tours and 3D walkthroughs. Previously, setting up a VR meeting involved navigating to the web interface, obtaining and sharing access codes and passwords, and then entering the meeting. Now, you can initiate a meeting directly from the SENTIO VR app on your headset, generate a meeting code, and share it with participants, who can join the session without needing to use the web interface.
This feature supports multi-user sessions, allowing team members and clients to join from different locations and interact in the virtual space.

Copy Access Code and Password: Obtain the meeting access code and password.
Share Credentials: Share the access code with participants.
Enter Meeting: Host enters using the password, participants enter using the access code.
